brands reveal themselves

Well... sort of. Really, this brand experiment shows the true colors of a brand, and provides insight into a consumer's heart -- proving there are both brand loyalists and those that just don't care.

This new site allows the consumer to type in the first thing that comes to mind about a specific brand (represented by logo) that pops onto the screen. The list seems fairly robust, although one of my national clients was not on there... Speaking of clients, this site seems semi-useful to us marketing folks as it's yet another avenue inside our target's head. You can search by brand and see the full list for yourself.

For those uninterested in what people think about a brand, it could still be of interest to you... are you not curious to know what others think of a brand you love? When you see the logo of Cheetos, what do you think of? messy? American? crappy food? unhealthy? orange? what?...

It's interesting to browse through the list and see what other people came up with. Take a look. Have some fun. :)
